Hearing Voices Network - A Walking Workshop

Hearing Voices Network
A Walking Workshop
Friday 2nd June

The Hearing Voices Network met Dominica Williamson at Trengwainton Gardens for a relaxing walking workshop in the heat of June. The group led the walk, showing Dominica where they wanted to go. She encouraged them to collect plants of interest and provided them with plant-based see-through bags to hold them in. The lentil bush was the crowd pleaser on this walk.

During the second part of the morning, she made tea for them in the Orchard. Here, the group pinned their bags into a sequence on a bright green washing line. They discussed the different plants and the way they looked on the line and in their bags, and how it was a record of where they had just been - a map. Dominica recorded the line for them so they have a record of the different shapes, sizes and colours.
