Botanist Keith Spurgin gave a fascinating presentation at Trengwainton's tractor shed in August. The talk explored the flora of Cornwall from as early as the 1600's through to the golden age of the 1900's. Keith cleverly linked information to Trengwainton. Afterwards we walked around the site inspecting different specimens. It was really interesting observing the garden from a scientific perspective, a very different viewpoint from how we usually see it!
